OUR STORY
Frip comes from friperie, the French word for a second-hand clothing shop, and from the thrill of the thrift: you never know what's going to turn up. So we lean into it. Frip happens.
We're a Dubai shop for men and women who'd rather own something with a past than something everyone else has. Every jacket, dress and pair of jeans is hand-picked, cleaned and checked before it reaches the rail.
Like the dragonfly, good clothes get a second life.
We pick every piece ourselves for cut, fabric and character. If we wouldn't wear it, it doesn't make the rail.
There's only one of each piece. Sizes are listed honestly, with any wear noted, so you know what you're getting.
Buying pre-loved keeps good clothes in use for longer. It's personal style with a lighter footprint.
BUYING GUIDE
Every pre-loved piece is inspected by hand and given a grade before it reaches the rail. You see the grade on the card and the full details, including any flaws, when you open a piece.
Unworn or worn once. No signs of wear at all.
Gently worn. No flaws worth mentioning.
Light signs of wear, like soft fading or slight pilling. Noted and photographed.
Visible wear or a small repair that adds character. Priced to match and fully disclosed.
Sizes have changed over the decades, so a vintage "M" may fit like a modern "S". Compare the listing with something you already own, or message us and we'll help.
Pay securely at checkout. We deliver within Dubai only for now. One piece, one size, so when it's in your bag, don't overthink it.
